Every Year Ms Con Nooga has the choice to be in the Fandom Girls Calendar as reward for being Ms Con Nooga - and what better month than Con Nooga Month!!!  We welcome our 2nd Annual Ms Con Nooga Winner Maria as our first Fandom Girl 2010!      

Favorite Game(s) (Be it RPG, Card, Miniature, Console or PC)?  Are You A Werewolf (card game I suppose)...think 42 hrs is my record..at Dragon of course.  :)  I love creative intelligent games (Munchkin & anything with pyramids) & card/board games like Robo Rally, Wise & Otherwise, Scattergories, Cranium.  Played my share of WOW & AD&D.

Mel returns as the first reigning Ms Con Nooga 2008 and also rejoins the Fandom Girls Calendar in 2010.  We are glad Mel has decided to rejoin the girls for another fun and exciting year of Fandom Girls!

Which character(in any fandom) would you want to be for a day/night and why?  I would want to be Catwoman for a day. Not the one from the sucky movie, but actual Selina Kyle...the hot temptress/jewel thief/hero. She's good, bad, and sexy in one package. :)

Bambi joins the 2010 Fandom Girls and for those that do not know her!  Shame!  Bambi can be found fronting Radio Cult who happens to also be an amazing band that has been with Con Nooga since day 1!

What are your favorite fandom movies or tv show(s)? (Anime, Comic/Superhero/Horror/Fantasy/Sci-Fi etc –or other)
Anime: Fantastic Adventures of Unico & Vampire Hunter D.
Comic/Superheroes: Live action Tick TV show (it's hilarious!).
Horror: I like so much horror stuff that it's hard to narrow it down.  I would put the Exorcist, but I think of that as more of a supernatural film...and when you get into that category I could go ON and ON!!!  So, how about anything Rob Zombie is involved with!  I also liked the Buffy the Vampire TV show...well, most of it.  Does "Eraserhead" count as horror or fantasy?!
Fantasy: Labyrinth (David Bowie is HOT in that) and Stardust (I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan).
Sci-Fi: Spaceballs!

A first year Fandom Girl, we are glad she came on board for 2010!!  All the way from Knoxville to join us for the 2010 Fandom Girls Calendar,  DD has numerous amazing costumes and is a huge geek in her own right!

What is your plan for surviving the zombie apocalypse ?

It is fortunate that I have assembled a crack team for just such an occurrence!  Our team is prepared to assemble at a moments notice in a undisclosed location.  As team leader, I am responsible for zombie knowledge, tactics against the undead, and as an escape driver.  Jessica Nicole and Josh are in charge of electronic media and communications; weapon experts Josh, Bil, and have our small arms situation under control; our nautical friend Sara has her boat on stand-by for a quick escape; and I think one semester of nursing school qualifies Autumn for field medic. And, in the worst case scenario, I would be infected and thus become an unstoppable killing machine to lead all other zombies.  In that case the Zombie Queen would arise and humanity just wouldn't stand a chance.

Kel-C started the convention scene attending Dragon Con in 2008 and has not looked back!  She is now an avid Fandom Girl and what better way to show it than joining the ranks of Fandom Girls 2010!?  Kel-C is the only female slider working a haunted house in the area...  What is a slider?  Well Kel-C would be glad to show you this Halloween!

What is your favorite fandom, and why?
Horror, it is a fandom that I was introduced to at a young age, as my parents have taken me though haunted houses since I was really young. I have also worked in different haunted houses since I was about 15 years old.

Leslie is not only a Fandom Girl she is an avid costumer and Horror Freak.  From Troma Girl to Fandom Girl we are glad Leslie has joined the Fandom Calendar Girls!

What is your favorite event or thing about Conventions?  Why?

I just love seeing all of my friends and actually meeting people that I have common interests with! Not to mention, I love putting a costume on and carrying around a gun!

Another first year Fandom Girl - Alice just recently hit the convention scene and is slowly giving over to the dork side...  A fan of superheroes especially Batman, even Batman wouldn't turn down Alice as a sidekick!

What is your favorite fandom, and why?

I would have to say that my favorite fandom has always been a superhero. Since I was young, I always admired Batman and his witty ability to outsmart the villains without possessing any superpowers. By his inventions, speed, and intellect alone, I have always thought him to be the most fierce and swift superhero of all.

Ch4otic Neutr4l comes to the Fandom Girl ranks with more than Fandom participation.  She is also co-owner of a company that hits the convention scene selling cool hats, swords and other fandom related items. 

Which character (in any fandom) would you want to be for a day and why?                                                                                                                  I'm big into video games so it would have to be my Soul Calibur Character Lilith. She is based off of Zasalamel from the game but with big armor and a kind of trashy look. Also she has a GIANT scythe

Maria Vixen is a Fandom Girl with Talent!  From Face Painting to Fire Breathing...  Bellydancing to Pin Up Modeling...  Maria Vixen is more than meets the eye.  We are glad to have her as a 2010 Fandom Girl!

What is the geekiest thing you've ever done?

I make my own costumes, am a member of the sca, face paint, fire breath, read anything I get my hands on, and am just an all around geeky lady.

 GizMo is fairly new to the convention scene and is slowly giving over to her geek side...  GizMo is a huge goth/horror fan and has become another great addition to the Fandom Girls!
